Through a partnership with Dpop, I Am Young Detroit’s PopLab provides a unique opportunity for area entrepreneurs under 35 to pop-in to vacant and underutilized spaces with their retail business ideas. The program provides marketing, design, media, place-matching and logistics support, matches entrepreneurs with mentors, and helps them launch their pop-ups in style with a fabulous event! We had the pleasure of working with our first PopLab participant, 26 year old Emery Jones last weekend at our 5 year Anniversary Event. We got the scoop from the EMLE designer to hear about his experiences with the program.
